Eat Well Even if You are Gluten Intolerant – gluten intolerant influencers take the lead

In October 2020 it was gluten intolerance and the gluten free products of Cerbona that got into the limelight on the social media sites of Cerbona, and many celebrities shared stories about their own gluten intolerance. The campaign targeted at introducing Cerbona’s mission: to meet the demand of gluten intolerant consumers as fully as possible.

More than 10% of Hungarian population is affected by gluten intolerance. To react on that Cerbona has significantly improved and extended its gluten free offer in recent years, and cheered all those who need to pay attention to their nutrition with several new products.

In October Cerbona published educational posts and video recipes related to gluten intolerance on its social media sites, and also announced a challenge and a sweepstake entitled “Mondd el a történeted” (“Share Your Story”), where we asked consumers about how they manage to cope with food intolerance in their daily lives.

 At the Facebook page of Cerbona visitors could also ask from Katalin Nógrádi, dietitian, renowned expert of gluten intolerance. Consumers mostly asked about gluten free diet and its effects, as well as the symptoms of gluten intolerance.

In order to reach as many consumers as possible within the gluten intolerant target group, we co-operated with more than twenty bloggers dealing with gluten free lifestyle, gluten intolerant influencers, as well as gastro blogs.

We invited gluten intolerant celebrities to share their own stories and daily gluten intolerance related struggles in our campaign. Thus, in the course of the campaign one could learn about the personal food intolerance related stories of Réka Koós, Piros Vágó and Korinna Kocsis, and why they decided on a gluten free diet. It has been revealed from the posts of many participants that Cerbona with its gluten free cereal-based products provides fast and tasty solutions for everyday meals, because they are easily available in many tastes, even from muesli bars to porridge.

The main goal during this month for Cerbona was to get to know consumer preferences related to gluten free products even better and demonstrate that it is indeed central for them to professionally serve the food intolerant target group.
