“Sporty Steve”, nephew of “Strong Steve” comes on stage

Although “Strong Steve”, the famous Hungarian hot paprika sauce does not appear in opinion polls, he would most probably beat the most popular Hungarian politicians in reputation and popularity alike. Based on the recommendation of our agency, besides the denominative figure of this Hungarian speciality, Unilever has also created Sporty Steve, who could not deny at all, that they are indeed relatives: when looking at him one can immediately imagine what Strong Steve would be like if he was young – but now he belongs to a different age group. Sporty Steve is proud of his family traditions, but lives already in the town, follows a different course in life, compared to his uncle. He loves consuming quality food, living a healthy life, which – according to him – must include regular exercising besides a varied diet.

The creation of Sporty Steve’s figure, the related creative work and the selection of the ‘real’ Sporty Steve meant a really beloved task for KNK PR & Media, and we were more than happy to assist Univer in this project. Sporty Steve is not a brand name, it is an experience, and Univer encourages all to take part in it. Sporty Steve was introduced to journalists at the Iron-Univer Press Cup, and he made his public debut before the Univer24 event.
